Why Should I Choose This Program Over a Mentorship or A Job at A Big Box Store

When groomers offer mentorships, they are looking for others to help them in their busy businesses with little or no capacity for training or education. Similarly, big box stores aren’t interested in helping you learn or grow; they are simply looking for you to hit their required numbers and cycle pets through as quickly as possible. Enroll And Payment

Ready to enroll? The first step is to complete an application Applications can be emailed or completed in person. A $1,000 deposit is required to hold your spot with the remainder due 4 weeks before class starts!
This deposit will go towards your course tuition.

Start Class And Learn To Groom

Learn to groom and start a new and exciting career as a Pet Stylist in just 16 weeks. Work directly with our skilled instructors in small sized classes that offer one-on-one mentorship. Classes are held from 8:15am-4:00pm.

When you graduate from our academy you will not only receive a Certificate from the State of Arizona, you will have also gained hands on pet experience, client relation skills, and a full grooming kit with all the tools needed to start your new career.

I wanted to attend the Academy because I always wanted to work with dogs or become a hair stylist. This seemed like the best of both worlds. I fell in love with the atmosphere at this school and it made me feel very excited to start my own grooming career! I only had dog bathing experience when I joined the Academy. I wanted to attend AZPGA to learn to work with animals and I wanted to be a part of Cageless shop. When I joined the program I didn’t have car but I overcame this obstacle by catching rides and Ubers. This school taught me how to be a compassionate pet groomer, how to control my emotions better, and how to be calm. I gained confidence in this program because the Instructor would groom half of the dog and then I would do the other half. Having an Instructor by my side helped me gain confidence and improve my skills. I would recommend AZPGA because they teach you so much not just about grooming but also about yourself.

Being in the Academy with all the wonderful people was truly a fun bonding experience. We got to go through the errors and trials of what it take to be dog groomer together. We cried together, laughed together and hand in hand we finally became Professional Pet Stylists together! My knowledge has tripled since being in this program. I joined AZPGA just after graduating from another grooming school but I needed more experience. The 3 things I liked most about this program were everyone helps everyone, the customers are amazing, and everyone is a true family. When you need help the instructors are always right there if you need them to step in and show you how to make your groom look 10 times better.
